CoovaChilli needs a bridge as Acces Point. With dd-wrt installed on the router this is possible. \\ 
In dd-wrt configure the following:\\ 
\\ 
(1) Disable the DHCP Server\\ 
Under Setup: Basic Setup \\ 
DHCP Server				Disable\\ 
\\ 
(2) Set your broadcast SSID\\ 
Under Wireless: Basic Settings\\ 
Wireless Network Name (SSID)		<Your-Hotspot>\\ 
Wireless Channel			Auto\\ 
\\ 
(3) Optional: Disable the Security Mode\\ 
Under Wireless: Wireless Security\\ 
Security Mode:				Disabled\\ 
\\ 
(4) Disable the firewall\\ 
Under Security\\ 
Firewall Protection			Disable\\ 
\\ 
\\ 
The physical setup of your router:
Plug the Ethernet cable from your Pi into a LAN port on your router (not the WAN/internet port!!!! (We need to Bridge!!!)). \\
